We are dedicated to providing you with beautiful floral arrangements while minimizing our impact on the environment.

Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, from sourcing flowers to creating our designs and delivering them to you. We strive to make conscious decisions in our day-to-day operations and we are always (always!) looking for ways to improve.

Local Sourcing: We prioritize building relationships and working directly with local farmers whenever possible, supporting our area’s economy and reducing transportation emissions.

Seasonal Blooms: By using seasonal flowers whenever possible, we minimize the environmental resources required to grow the blooms we use.

Waste Reduction: Our glass vase recycling program helps eliminate excess while we avoid single-use plastics, such as floral foam, in our designs. We return cardboard boxes to our wholesaler for reuse weekly, or give them to our “no till” friends for gardening projects.

Composting: We weigh and document our green waste on a weekly basis and refine our flower buying accordingly. We compost our green waste at the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute’s Palouse Nature Center, closing the loop and giving back to the Earth.

Water Conservation: We are committed to reducing our water usage and exploring solutions for more efficient practices (contact us with your innovative ideas!)

Customer Education: We actively share our knowledge and sustainable practices with our customers to encourage conscious consumption and to inspire better choices.

Delivery: We do not own a car. We have a small delivery radius that allows us to walk, bike, or use the bus system to get around. We phone a friend on our busiest days!
