Summerfield Farms

Located in Summerfield, NC, Summerfield Farms is a picturesque wedding venue situated on over 600 acres of rolling green farmland. A charmingly rural escape with modern luxuries just a short drive from downtown Greensboro, this venue is the perfect backdrop for any wedding.

Summerfield Farms has a long and celebrated history as a working farm, thriving among groves of tall, leafy oak trees. In the 1930s, the Gamble family owned the property, where they grew tobacco and raised cows in the fields. In 1946 they built the large barn, which remains on the grounds today. David Couch acquired the property in 1998. He modernized the farm by introducing holistic management techniques and restoring the buildings on the property to be used as event spaces and luxury lodgements. Today, Summerfield Farms is home to barn houses, cozy cottages, and sprawling patios that can accommodate large and small weddings.

At Summerfield Farms, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor ceremony sites to choose from based on the size of your party. There are luxury farmhouse suites for the wedding party to use as get-ready areas, and you will have access to the venue all day. They can provide tables and cross-back chairs for up to 150 guests, and their team will take care of setup, breakdown, and cleanup at the end of the night. Their on-site event specialist will work with you through the planning phase up until the wedding itself, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. All wedding packages include a two-hour rehearsal slot to run through your ceremony ahead of time and a three-hour timeframe for a photo session.
